bKash & Nagad Payout Integration

Freelancers in Dhaka and Chattogram get paid in Amazon, Steam and Apple cards. WePesa turns those into taka on the wallet you already use — bKash, Nagad or Rocket.

You finished a Fiverr or Upwork job, the client settled in gift cards, and you need BDT in a wallet you can spend from today. This page documents the Bangladeshi leg of that payout: which wallets, what limits, and how fast.

How it works

From gift card to settled payout.

  1. 01

    Lock the BDT quote

Live USD/BDT plus the card's rate, locked for 10 minutes while you upload the card.

  2. 02

    Confirm the wallet name

We resolve the registered name behind the 11-digit wallet number and show it before anything moves.

  3. 03

    Disbursement fires

Once escrow clears the card, the wallet disbursement is submitted. The bKash SMS is your receipt.

Rail fees are absorbed by WePesa unless a row says otherwise. The quote you lock is the amount that settles.

Reliability

How we keep the rail up when the network isn't.

Wallet cap awareness

Bangladesh Bank sets monthly MFS ceilings per wallet. We read your headroom before quoting so a payout never fails on a limit you didn't know about.

Agent cash-out planning

If you're cashing out at an agent, the confirm screen can round to note-friendly amounts and keep the remainder in your WePesa balance.

Holiday-proof

Wallet disbursements run through Eid and bank holidays. Only BEFTN transfers wait for a banking day.

No 'code first' anywhere

The card sits in escrow, never in a buyer's inbox. If the payout can't complete, the code returns to you unredeemed.

For builders

Trigger payouts programmatically.

FAQ

What sellers ask about this rail.

bKash or Nagad — which is better?+

bKash has the widest agent network; Nagad usually costs less to cash out at an agent. Both settle in about the same time on our side.

Is NID verification required?+

Not for a first trade under BDT 25,000. Above that, yes — our licensed local partner is required to verify identity.

Are cash-out charges deducted from my payout?+

The disbursement fee is ours. The agent's own cash-out charge, if you withdraw physical notes, is set by the operator.

Can I be paid into a bank account instead?+

Yes, over BEFTN. It's slower — next banking day — but useful above wallet ceilings.

Do you support Pakistan and Sri Lanka too?+

Pakistan runs on JazzCash and Easypaisa. Sri Lanka is on the roadmap; USDT is the practical option there today.
